Meet the Team: Clare Street Vets Limerick

By Kathy & Michelle Enright

Hi again everyone, we’re back with our second blog instalment. It’s been a hectic few weeks in both Clare Street and Shannon. Our Shannon clients will have noticed that we’ve refurbished our building and we look forward to welcoming you and your pets to our new-look clinic to meet the team there.
Plans are afoot for a similar project in Clare Street where we’ll shortly be renovating and modernising the premises to make it more comfortable for our patients ☺
As we’ve settled into the daily routine, we’re really starting to enjoy meeting all our lovely clients and patients. For those of you who haven’t had the opportunity to visit us yet, we’d like to take the chance to introduce the team. We’ll start with Clare Street today, and will go through our Shannon team on the next instalment.

Our Practice Manager is Michelle Enright. When she’s not managing the clinics, Michelle is a keen Irish dancer and teacher, she teaches for the Nolan School of Irish dancing, in Limerick City.

Our Head Nurse is Heather Lenharth. A real dog lover, Heather is especially fond of German Shepherds. In addition to her veterinary nursing qualifications, she’s also got qualifications in Canine Psychology, and Owl Handling!

Dr Bobbi Trifonova is our Head Vet at Clare Street and looks forward to welcoming you at your next visit. Bobbi trained at the prestigious Thracian University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, in Bulgaria, and she has a particular interest in treating skin and hormonal issues.

Dr Garrett Teskey will be based both in Clare Street and in Shannon. In addition to his small-animal work, Garrett has a consultancy in cattle breeding and herd health management.

Dr Kathy Enright will also work out of Clare Street and Shannon. She is an animal lover who is very keen on Rottweilers. She has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and looks forward to meeting you all at both clinics.

Aisling O’Donoghue is the second half of our nursing dynamic duo. She is an absolute animal lover and volunteers for several charities. She set up Limerick Feral Cats in 2011 with some other like-minded cat lovers. In her own words, “Aisling is owned by two cats, Eddie and Joe. She also has a rescue Greyhound called Josie and a Roborovski hamster, Benjen”.
